Sales & Acquisition
Identify and approach potential clients (individuals, families, senior citizens, students) for health insurance policies.
Explain product offerings (hospitalization, pre-/post-hospitalization, ambulance, day care etc.), benefits, exclusions, terms & conditions.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective customers, follow-up regularly to close sales.
Needs Assessment & Advisory
Assess clientβs health insurance needs (budget, current health status, family history, requirement for pre-existing disease coverage, etc.).
Advise on different plan options: individual vs family floater, group health, top-ups, riders, etc., based on SLK Bimaβs partnerships and offerings.
Help clients understand coverage limitations (waiting periods, co-payments, sub-limits, exclusions etc.).
Policy Documentation & Onboarding
Assist clients in filling application forms, gathering required documents.
Coordinate with underwriters / insurers to get policies issued.
Ensure clients receive policy documents, schedule, endorsements, etc.
Client Relationship / Post-Sale Services
Maintain existing clients, send reminders for renewals, follow up to convert renewals.
Answer client queries: policy features, hospital networks (cashless), claim process etc.
Help in claim support: guiding through documentation, claim filing process, coordinate with insurers / TPAs.
Target Achievement & Reporting
Meet monthly / quarterly sales targets set by the company.
Maintain sales records, generate reports of leads, conversions, renewals.
Provide feedback to management on product performance, client objections, market trends.
Compliance & Ethical Practices
Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory guidelines, company policies.
Maintain transparency: disclose fees, limitations, avoid mis-selling.
Keep updated with latest health insurance products, regulation changes.
Coordination with Internal Teams
Work with underwriting / claims / customer service teams at SLK Bima to resolve client issues.
Liaise with marketing for promotional campaigns, seminars, tie-ups to generate leads.
Self-Development
Continuous learning of health insurance trends, new products, competitive offerings.
Improve sales techniques, negotiation skills.
Minimum education: High school / Diploma; insurance / sales training preferred.
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Ability to explain insurance terms simply so clients understand.
Persuasive with customer-oriented attitude; ethics & integrity.
Basic computer skills: MS Office, email, CRM or sales tools.
Local knowledge of Motinagar & surrounding areas advantageous.
